Crazy Times in the Hendrickson Household!

We have had a lot going on since I posted last. Obviously, it's been a busy time getting ready for Mya Jayne...no she's not here yet. Also, Brad has been working very hard on the new fitness center that will be opening soon; and then, we decided to move about 2 weeks ago. So, new house, new business and soon to be new baby! It's a very exciting time for us!

We have been working hard to try and get the house settled and the nursery set up before Mya gets here. Things are starting to come together. Brad has been putting together Mya's bassinet, crib, swing, etc. Thankfully, she has been patient with us and has not decided to come early.

I went to the doctor on Sept. 22 and was dilated at 1 cm. When I went back to the doctor, this week, there was still no change. So, we will go for our next appointment on Tuesday if Mya hasn't decided to come before then. Our due date is this Friday, Oct. 9 but our doctor says we can wait as long as the 16th...as long as she gets here in time to see the Cardinals become World Champions! Go Cards!!

Puppy Love!

We hope that Mya will be a dog lover like we are. Most of you know that we already have 3 furry four-legged children - Gracie, Sam and Gabe. We don't know how these 3 will react when we bring Mya home, but they seem to love her already.

Gracie snuggled up to my stomach and just layed there for the longest time while we were watching the Cardinals play one night. Mya was moving around the whole time, and Gracie didn't seem to mind at all. This picture was actually taken on Gracie's 9th birthday! We think Gracie will be Mya's "Cuddly Friend and Playmate."

Sam is just a big baby. This picture was taken the same night. Sam got up on the couch and settled in with his paw on my stomach. Sam has also been very interested in anything that we have brought in the house for Mya...clothes, diapers, etc. He has had to investigate and sniff everything. Sam will be Mya's "Partner in Crime."

We don't have a picture of Gabe and my belly. He's not really a cuddler. He will usually sit at my feet and guard me. If Brad is not home, Gabe is glued to my side. He will follow me upstairs, downstairs, to the laundry room, etc. Gabe will be Mya's "Protector."
