Road Trip!

We took Mya on her very first road trip in November. On the way to see our family in Paragould, Arkansas, for Thanksgiving, we decided to take a little detour through Branson. Brad wanted us to meet his good friends, Mel and Liz, and we wanted to visit Mel's Christmas store to look for an ornament for Mya's first Christmas.

While we were shopping, we saw Santa and took Mya's first picture with him.


Mya really enjoyed her time with "Uncle" Mel and "Aunt" Liz.


If you are ever in Branson, you MUST stop in at Kringles Christmas Shop. It is amazing! There is any ornament you could possibly imagine!


We had dinner with Mel and Liz at Mel's Hard Luck Diner...also a must when you are in Branson. Mya and I had our picture taken with a former American Idol contestant, Jason Yeager.

Mya did really well on the trip. She slept most of the drive. After our time in Branson, we loaded up again and headed to Paragould.
