Such a Sweetie!!

I couldn't resist taking these pictures while Mya was sleeping. She was making such sweet faces!






Mya's eyes are still really dark. We are not sure what color they will end up being, but they are big and beautiful!

Of our three dogs, Sam is the one that has taken on the protective role with Mya. He always has to know what she is doing and constantly checks in on her.


Sam will even stay by Mya's side while she sleeps in her swing. I think Mya and Sam will be big buddies for sure!

Mya's First Day Out!

Mya went on her first outing on Monday, October 12. She had her first scheduled visit to see her pediatrician, Dr. Koenig.

Mya wasn't too happy about undressing but her umbilical cord stump was looking healthy.

Our sweet nurse, Dominique, measuring Mya's length which was 20 1/2 inches. She said it goes down a little after delivery since the head starts to round out.


Mya getting weighed. She was 7 lbs 13 oz, so she was back up to the weight of when we left the hospital.

She's so happy now that Daddy has her.

Mya is a healthy little girl and we go back to see the doctor for her 6 wk checkup.


After we saw the doctor, we went to introduce Mya to her Great Grandma Mary Jo for the very first time. What a special day!











I think they both enjoyed their visit together!
